Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026. Numerarium (numerarium.app) is built so that your personal data stays with you.
What we process
The name, date and place of birth you enter are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers, never stored by us and never shared with anyone. Closing the page or pressing “Clear” removes them; the “remember my last entry” convenience uses your browser's local storage only, on your device.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate numbers (page views, countries, referrers) with no personal identifiers.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. Your theme and language choice are kept in local storage on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, whose network may process technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
The mobile app
The Numerarium app for Android and iOS performs the same calculations on your device and works offline. The names and dates you save stay in the app's own storage on your phone; they are never transmitted, and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Advertising in the app
The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver them, Google processes technical data from your device — the advertising identifier, device model and operating system, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads. This processing is Google's, under the Google privacy policy; we receive only aggregate reports and never see data that identifies you. Your name and date of birth are never shared with advertisers — they never leave your phone at all.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom the app asks for your consent before any personalised advertising, through Google's consent form, the first time you open it. You may refuse: the app then shows non-personalised ads and works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time from your device settings — on Android, Settings → Google → Ads, where you can also reset or delete the advertising identifier.
Unlocking the complete reading removes advertising entirely.
Purchases in the app
Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never see your card details. Purchases are validated through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and the purchase record so that your unlock can be restored on your devices.
Notifications
The optional daily reminder is generated and scheduled entirely on your phone. It involves no server and sends nothing anywhere.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on request — but if you have any question, write to us via the contact page. Under the GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Changes
If we ever introduce accounts, payments or other processing, this policy will be updated first and any new processing will be explained before it starts.
